Well after the creep fest that was Nausicaa this came out. This movie was much more light hearted but still as serious and epic as Nausicaa. Also the plot wasn't nearly as complex as Nausicaa (IE. This wont confuse little kids)

                         The movie starts off with a bunch of pirates boarding this government airship to capture this girl named Sheeta for her pendent. After a pretty strange fight on board Sheeta tries to escape by climbing out the window while the thing is in mid-flight (A VERY BAD IDEA) and of coarse she falls. Luckily her pendent keeps her afloat until a boy named pazu catches her. While he is completely baffled by this he puts her down and gets back to work. After work he takes her to his place instead of the doctors (Weirdo).

                    So after she wakes up he introduces himself to her and shows her around his place. But then the pirates come back to get her. Pazu thinks fast and dresses her up like a little boy and they run out past the stupid pirates. Once the get to town the villagers help them escape by beating the tar out of the pirates after a chase on the train tracks the army shows up and Sheeta is freaked out by them too (Man she is enemies with everyone) so the run away from them too that is until the train bridge is blown out from underneath them....

                    Well thats alot happening in like less then 30 minutes. Why do all the people want Sheeta and how did her pendent do that crazy float trick? Well find out you lazy bums buy the DVD!!!

Overall- 9/10 much better then Nausicaa but still nothing THAT great like people make it out to be.
