Well here is the end-all-be-all Anime movie Princess Mononoke. Like a typical Ghibli movie this movie has an intense deep meaning like all their other ones. The message is SO HARD TO GET they cram it down your throught.

                         Well the movie starts off with this kid named Ashitake who is the prince of his little village. During one of his joy rides on his red elk Yakool an evil demon attacks his village he tries to ward it off but it doesn't care and continues on its path of death towards his village. So he decides to bring it down. After shooting its eye out it shoots its crazy life sucking cursed death leeches at him. These grab onto his arm and leave some crazy mark on it. He then proceeds to kill by shooting its other eye. After he kills it it tells him that he will have revenge and kill all of humanity. (Man I would be impressed if he did that while dead :P). So later Ashitake is at some anchient meeting thing and learns he has a curse on the arm that got attacked by the leech things and must leave the village now.

                     So he leaves on a quest to figure out what made the demon god boar king dude become a demon and how to remove his curse. After a few misadventures he winds up learning about this place with a holy forest spirit. So he sets off to go there...

Overall- 8/10 a pretty good movie but not all people say it to be. If you don't like crazy fantasy stuff like demon god boars and giant blobs of death don't watch if not go ahead its a pretty cool movie strange but cool.
