Ok first off this anime is NOT for the weak hearted this IS the most depressing thing I have seen in my life. Some scenes made me feel sick and reconsider my life. Some scenes made me stop watching the show for a week out of depression. This is not for the weak hearted.

 

 

 

                Ok This show starts off with a nice high school couple, named Shuuji and Chize, just getting by in high school in japan until a war breaks out. The Jpanese forces are losing horribly so they decide to make a cyborg one day as Chize is walking home she is taken by the government and made into a battle android. The next day Shuuji and buddies go to the mall to shop around one of shuu's friends points out a necklace and how it would look good on his girlfriend. Suddenly the air raid sirens go off and they try to escape. While Shuu and two of his other friends escape the one who got the necklace is found under a pile of rubble. While shuu tries to save him he is knocked out by falling debris. When he wakes up he stumbles about until he see's Chize but she isn't normal she looks like a robot.

 

Overall- I cannot tell you how much I loved this show but remember this is incredible depressing so watch at your own risk. Infinity/10
