SDF- Macross- In the year 1999 an alien spaceship crashes on earth which the humans called ASS-1 (alien Space ship-1). This scares the bajeezes out of mankind so they decide if an alien attack comes it would be best if all of man was united. Thus the Unification wars started. (Insert still frames from the show) around 2008 the war is over but thats not really important.

            In 2009 the ASS-1 is now completely repaired and has given mankind unthinkable advances in technology. One of these advances was put towards fighting against these GIANT aliens that they saw in records of the space ship. These were broken into two types. DESTROIDS Basically Giant robots with big guns that sit on the ground and blow stuff up before it gets to it destination and Valkyrie a transformable airplane with 3 modes Fighter looks like a F-14 GERWALK kinda a hybrid of Fighter mode and Its battroid mode. Then battroid mode basically a humanoid mode.

            During the ASS-1's (Now called the SDF-1 Macross) lift-off party a disturbance is located behind the moon. The Same kind of disturbance that they detected way back when the SDF-1 crashed. This leads to a new alien threat coming to earth in search for an enemy ship (the Macross). But instead of destroying it they decide they want to capture it. They attack and the SDF-1 takes off. They decide to use the advance alien technology of Folding to get to the moon in seconds but something goes wrong and they end up at Pluto and the fold engines are now GONE. This leads to one of the greatest stories in the coarse of anime.

Main cast-

Roy Focker- Drunken womanizer and leader of the Valkyrie squad.

Hikaru Ichijo- Young Circus pilot who joins the UN spacy's valk forces.

Minmei Lin- A young girl who becomes part of the love interest of Hikaru. 

Claudia LaSalle- Roy's Girlfriend and one of the Macross' bridge operators.

Misa Hayase- One of the Macross' bridge operators.

Bruno Global- Captain of the SDF-1.

Max Jenius- Ace rookie assigned to Hikaru's command along with kakizaki.

Kakizaki- another rookie assigned to Hikaru's command.

Vriltai- One of the main villains in Macross leader of a large portion of a zentraedi army.

Exedole- Vriltai's advisor.

Kamjin- another commander of zentraedi forces. This ones kinda insane.

My rating- 9.5/10 it would have been a perfect 10 but the animation is WAY to bad. But YOU MUST WATCH IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
