Here is a show all giant robot fans can enjoy. It takes place in the future where only Tokyo is left in the world and the rest is taken over by aliens. One day there is an alien attack and ayato and friends are riding the subway but it gets derailed and some people get hurt so Ayato go's to get help. While trying to get help he comes across a class mate michiru who is just standing there he tries to make her leave but she takes him to a giant egg. Here he makes it hatch and what do ya know its a GIANT ROBOT!!!! So he somehow ends up in it and kills a bunch of other stuff attacking the city. Later he meets Haruka who tells him that everything he has learned is not right so she gets into a fight with some "agents" and they bleed blue blood (OMG!!!) So he is kinda like ok.... Later he ends up leaving Tokyo and learning that Tokyo has been taken over by the mu. And now he and RahXephon must protect the advancing army. Well insert super deep plot great characters and cool mech battles, a VERY depressing ep 19 and a VERY twisting ending and you got RahXephon.

Overall- Well after seeing the "Mind rape" that was EVA and feeling kinda mislead I saw this and was amazed at how much better this was. It truly deserves a 9.5/10
