Full Metal Panic!

A very confused show.

Much like Nadesico this show is one of those shows where it is somewhere between serious and beyond funny. The show starts off with some cool if James Bond had Giant robots this would happen scene where some girl is running away from a helicopter then all of a sudden this UBERLY MASSIVE GARGANTUOUS AWESOMELY AWESOME Robot turns visible out of nowhere grabs the helicopter and saves the girl.

Later you see Sagara (the main guy) being briefed by his two other squad members on what their mission is. He then learns he must pretend to be a high school student named to keep an eye on a special girl named Chidori Kaname with the mysterious "Whispered" powers that his own commander Tessa has. So of coarse the kid who has lived in the military his entire life kinda has hard time adjusting to school. Will Sagara Be able to tell the difference between an ex-boyfriend and an inter-national assassin while stopping Chidori (the high school girl) and Tessa (commander of the secret forces Sagara is in) from their own air headed behavior.

Overall- 8/10 a really funny show with really great action scenes pretty cool plot but used to death. Hopefully Full Metal Panic? The sequel will be even better.
