Well this movie takes place quite a few years after the TV series. And a bunch of junk has happened since the end of the show, Such as the jovians are now at peace with the earth, Akito and Yurika were on a shuttle and it exploded and numerous other things.

                   Well the movie is about these crazy guys named the Martian successors who want to over through the earth government. These guys are experimenting with bosen jumping (instant transportation of large area's) to make it a smaller area that is jumped (like one person of a mech). After a small squrmish at the beginning of the movie with them the Nadesico-B is called in to protect a colony. Once there they are attacked by a sole mech it over rides all the computers with some password called otika. Ryoko (one of the mech pilots from the TV show goes out to help the colony defense forces. She discovers that this pilot is quite an ace pilot. Once She chases him into the colony and through most of the colony they discover the ruins that the found on mars in the TV show. Of course everyone is shocked and confused about why this is here and intend to find out.

 

Overall- 7/10 Well after like the first 30 minutes the movie gets really boring and doesn't pick up until the end. But had some funny moments in it.
