Okay well at first glance to a guy this may look like a typical pretty boy, Magical schoolgirl show. But it is SO much more. This show is about Miaka and Yui two junior high school girls who live in modern Japan well not modern today but modern 1996 when this was made I guess well I dunno this could have taken place later in the future... BUT ANYWAYS. Miaka is the carefree hungry girl who doesn't care about her studies while Yui is the serious "gotta do well in school girl." One day they go the library and Miaka gets hungry so she goes to the snack machines and see's a Big phoenix. So she follows it until she gets to some storage room. Once their Yui shows up and a book falls so they open it and they get sucked in.

                  They wake up in the middle of ancient china. Almost immediately some slave traders attack them. 5 seconds later they guys are beat to a bloody pulp because this guy shows up and beats the tar out of them. So like the gentleman he is he asked for money. Of course they dont have money. Right as he leaves Yui vanishes. So Miaka has to look for her by herself. As she wonders around she gets in trouble again and is about to be raped. Luckily her Pro-Wrestling moves come in handy and kicks their butts. But later they get a hold of her but thankfully the guy comes back and smacks them around abit.

       Later She meets the emperor and learns that she is the priestess of Suzaku and must assemble the 7 Suzaku warriors to save the kingdom of Konon.

 

SUZAKU DUDES

 

Miaka- Care free retard who just wants food.

 

Tamahome- The main Dude of the show has to power to go pissed off and scream MIAKA!!! For hours on end. One of the Suzaku warriors.

 

Hotohori- The emperor of Konon a nice guy has no special powers cept his girlish good looks he prides himself on.

 

Nuriko- A MAD fruit that enjoys dressing up as a girl and hitting on men. Has the power of super strength.

 

Chichiri- A Mage guy who always wears a mask to cover up his shameful past. Has the power to cast magic and stuff. (One of the two comic relief characters)

 

Mitsukake- a guy who has a past identical to ronfar from lunar 2 has the power to heal anything.

 

Tasuki- a bandit who likes to pick on Tamahome has to power to use a fan the spits fire. (2nd comic relief guy)

 

Chiriko- some little kid genius that has the power to play the grass flute.

 

SEIRYU DUDES (I still think they are the good guys)

 

Yui- Later Yui learns she is the priestess of seiryu and must defeat the kingdom of Konon.

 

Nakago- my hero. The main "bad guy". He will do anything to protect Yui.

 

Amiboshi- an identical twin brother who has the power to make peoples brains explodes and stuff with his flute.

 

Suboshi- The other twin has the power to use killer yo-yo's things.

 

Miboshi- some crazy spirit that posses people and can control their voices and stuff.

 

Tomo- some crazy fruit who can project illusions through his clam.

 

Soi- some girl who can control the weather.

 

Ashitari- A werewolf who loves to eat human flesh.

 

 

Overall- 10/10 A perfect show a perfect amount of cheese, Death, plot, music, character EVERYTHING!!!! I mean come on at the end you even have a giant snake dragon fighting a chicken in Tokyo.
